Dr. Hindol Sengupta is a historian, journalist and an award-winning author of nine books. He is the Editor-at-Large at Fortune India and has also been a senior journalist with leading broadcasters and publications. He is also a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.

He studied South Asian history and politics at Worcester College, Oxford, as a Chevening Scholar and in business and finance as Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University. He has a doctorate in International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations.
